Can I buy Omiya Hachimangu Shrine omamori online from outside Japan?

Omiya Hachimangu's own online shop ships within Japan only, so there is no way to have its charms sent to a US address directly from the shrine.

According to shrine tradition, Omiya Hachimangu was founded in the 11th century. It is dedicated to Emperor Ojin (worshipped as Hachiman), together with his father, Emperor Chuai, and his mother, Empress Jingu — which is why it has long been a place to pray for safe childbirth and healthy children.

Its grounds cover about 50,000 square meters, making it one of the largest shrines in Tokyo, and it counts as one of the three great shrines of old Musashi Province.

Along the south approach sits the Kōfuku Nade-gaeru, a stone shaped like a frog. Visitors stroke it for happiness — in Japanese, kaeru (frog) also means “to return,” as in good fortune coming back to you.
