Can I buy Mitsumine Shrine omamori online from outside Japan?

Mitsumine Shrine doesn't run an online shop. The only way to request its charms from outside the shrine is by mailing cash to its office within Japan, which does not work for a US address.

According to shrine tradition, Mitsumine was founded around 1,900 years ago by Yamato Takeru, a legendary prince from Japan’s earliest chronicles, during a journey through the mountains of Chichibu.

The shrine is closely associated with wolves (御眉属様, o-inu-sama), once considered spiritual guardians against fire, theft and misfortune. Their images appear throughout the grounds and on many of the shrine’s charms.

Reaching Mitsumine means a drive or bus ride deep into the Okuchichibu mountains, about two hours from central Tokyo. That remoteness is part of its reputation: Japanese magazines and TV programs regularly describe it as one of the Kanto region’s most powerful "power spots" (パワースポット), and report that celebrities and athletes visit to pray here.
